“You have such healthy hair!” Is that a compliment you hear regularly? If not, it should be. Agents at the The event will want you to have healthy, beautiful, shiny hair. Get your hair in gorgeous condition. Find the products that work best on your hair and remember salon products may cost about the same as drugstore products because you can use so much less. Be sure to update your photos if you make any significant changes to your hair such as a shorter style, or highlights. Industry professionals will want you to look like your photos and comp card, so dramatic changes are not a good idea.

Makeup artists are always emphasizing the importance of “a perfect canvas” for makeup. Do you have a good skin care regimen? Find out what products work best for you and use them regularly. The industry professionals at The will want your skin to look beautiful and for you to wear very little makeup.

Hi I was wondering if the black and or white for the overview and runway event is formal, casual, high fashion?
thank you,

Hi Shantell,
It can be whatever your child is comfortable in. It doesn’t have to be too dressy, but definitely fashionable.

Hi I was wondering if there are any criteria/recommendation on the jean event and whether or not plain or trendy (lots of bling) is recommended or not and if any style of jean is acceptable?
thank you,
Shantell Roach

Hi Shantell,
We would prefer just plain, comfortable jeans. We try to avoid anything that could reflect, or else we will get that “disco ball” effect with the lights. We want the agents to concentrate more on your look than what designer jeans you are wearing at the time.

Thank you so much for all this information. Up til now I was guessing at what to wear, etc. This certainly helps with all the questions I was having.
Again thank you so much for all the great info. and a great website to enable us to get all the information so easily.

In the Monologue, TV Commercial & Scene Events you refer to “appropriate bottoms”. What does this mean? Are casual shorts okay?
