We received information about check in and thought you should know before you arrive. This information has been provided by the front desk manager at the Swan and Dolphin.
If guests desire to use their debit cards as a method of payment towards their room please make them aware of the following:
- There will be a pre-authorization that will tie the current funds they have in their bank account.
- The pre-authorization amount will be for the amount of room nights inclusive of tax and the Resort Services Package, if applicable, plus it will hold an extra 40% to guarantee incidental charges.
- When the guest checks out the funds are released immediately by the Swan and Dolphin.
- Depending on their bank, it could take up to 2-30 days for the unused funds to reappear back on their account.
- Something that can be suggested is if they have a regular credit card they can use just for the hold at check in and at the end of their stay if they wish to can use their debit card as a method of payment. This way it will only approve the amount that is going to be actually charged.
- If a debit card is their only method of payment they have they will be required to sign a check card authorization waiver that they understand and are giving us permission for the above.
Parking rates are as follow:
Valet Parking Daily Rate: $15 (including tax)
Valet Parking Overnight: $18 plus tax
Self Parking Daily Rate for each entry/exit: $12 (including tax)
Self Parking Overnight: $11 plus tax
The Swan Concierge Desk located around the Front Desk at the Swan. Their hours of operations are as follow:
7am-10:30pm daily
The services they provide are as follow:
- Dining Reservations for our hotel restaurants at both the Swan and Dolphin
- Dining Reservations for all Disney Restaurants
- Dining Reservations for the Orlando Area
- Booking Golf tee times, dinner shows, shows in the Orlando Area
- Booking transportation services
