The Family and Friends!
We just got back from an exciting weekend in Orlando, Fl and we loved meeting each and every one of you. It was so nice to put a face to the voice…and I’m sure you all felt the same. We look forward to hearing from each of you regarding your experience and welcome any helpful suggestions and comments that can make future events better! Some of you have already called or emailed, and we thank you for the support and wonderful ideas. After all, we are here to serve our talent and our industry pros to the best of our ability. As most of you saw the staff working 24 hours a day, we are pleased to know the hard work has paid off. With more than half of you receiving callbacks and comments from the industry pros such as, “This is some of the best talent we have seen,” or “All the parents I spoke to were so nice and happy with the event,” makes the long hours and days all worth while. In fact, we are ready to do it all over again (see I SPY…JULY below).
Some of you have stated that you are already working with an agent or manager, which is terrific! Keep the emails and calls flowing. If anyone is looking to post something in their local media or paper, please contact us and we can try to help get video and photo over to your local news organizations.

PHOTOS & VIDEO
We have over 10,000 images and hours of footage to go through, so please be patient with us as we get through all the amazing shots. As soon as we have these posted online, we will send an email and post on the blog where you can download small resolution images for use on websites and also link you to Print Room where you can order prints, T-shirts, mugs, etc. Please give us about 4 – 6 weeks to get some of this stuff going. We won’t forget about you, we promise!
CALLBACKS – THE NEXT STEP
For those of you who received callbacks, please refer to each individual company that you met with for specific callback instructions. You should have received a slip of paper during the callbacks that will indicate exactly what the agent, manager or casting director needs from you. If you are unsure of the instructions, please send an email to the_events@live.com with the exact verbiage given and we can help you figure out what to do next. If an agent or manager has requested to sign you to representation, we cannot give any type of opinion on the matter and simply ask that you read through all documents carefully and that you feel comfortable with who you will be working with and that you share the same goals. All our industry pros are great, so really it will be just a matter of location, goals and personality.

I SPY…JULY!
We are already finalizing details for our next event, July 7 – 11, which will be bigger and better! Still at the great Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, we have now added a VOCALIST event where the top prize is a 3-track demo recording session, more ACTING events for higher packages, as well as CELEBRITY INTENSIVES where talent and parents will meet with TV and film actors working today.

LOCAL INFORMATION POSTS
Beginning the middle of next week we will start to post regional information as well as common national websites to find out about casting and agency information for the local market. You can get a jump start by Googling “Film Commission (your state)” which should lead you to your state’s website for film production.
